Micronutrient Manufacturers Association CCA Self Study CEU Courses

The Micronutrient Manufacturers Association (MMA) has developed CCA Self Study Courses on Zinc Fertility, Boron Fertility, Copper Fertility and Iron Fertility.

The Zinc Course offers 1.5 CEUs in Nutrient Management and covers many important issues including: Importance, Zinc and Humans, Plant Yield Loss, Role in Quality, Zinc Deficiency, Role in Plant Reproduction, Soil and Environmental Factors Influencing Deficiencies and Determining Zinc Needs of Crops.

The Boron Course offers 2 CEUs in Nutrient Management and covers many issues including: Importance of Boron to plants, Role in plant physiology, Mobility, Crop sensitivity, Yield effect, Boron deficiency symptoms, Determining crop need, Fertilizers, and Toxicity.

The Copper Course offers 1.5 CEUs in Nutrient Management and discusses: Human/Animal Nutrition, Plant Nutrition, Soil pH, Plant Analysis, Copper Deficiency, Crop Response, Sources of Copper, Plant Disease, and Interaction with Other Essential Nutrients.

The Iron Course offers 1 CEU in Nutrient Management and discusses: Forms of natural iron, role in plant, deficiency symptoms, yield loss, toxicity, nutrient balance, and fertilizer source.
